While pursuing both my BA and MA degrees at UAL, I actively honed my creative vision by undertaking a series of impactful projects. "Nostalgic Replay," my award-winning Final Major Project, explored the use of nostalgia in fashion branding, culminating in a vibrant 90s-themed campaign for FILA (British Display Society Award).

 

This project solidified my ability to translate concepts into compelling visuals, a skill further developed through "Flat Seven," a collaborative branding campaign for Spotify and Axel Arigato. In this project, I spearheaded the creative direction, encompassing a look-book, video, and promotional content, while also leveraging my diverse skillset as Creative Director, Production Manager, Editor, and Visual Merchandiser.

 

My commitment to social awareness is evident in "Time To Stand," a visual effects (VFX) project tackling mental health struggles among millennials. This project not only aimed to raise awareness but also experimented with the narrative potential of VFX storytelling.

 

Finally, my passion for trendsetting collaborations is reflected in "Tsunami x Fila," a visionary concept that reintroduced Fila to the contemporary fashion scene, capitalising on the resurgence of vintage brands. These projects, completed concurrently with my academic pursuits, demonstrate my ability to manage multiple creative endeavours while delivering impactful results.

Time To Stand

Time To Stand" tackles the often-unseen struggles of creative millennials battling mental health challenges like depression and anxiety. This visual effects (VFX) project explores the highs and lows they face daily through the lens of three distinct characters. I aimed to depict the intense emotions and mental state associated with these conditions purely through visuals, prompting viewers to pause and consider the realities faced by creative minds.

 

This innovative approach not only sheds light on mental health but also experiments with the narrative potential of VFX storytelling within the broader creative industry. The project's title, "Time To Stand," serves as a powerful call to action, urging viewers to acknowledge the importance of mental well-being and foster a more understanding environment.

Nostalgic Replay

My Final Major Project at the London College of Fashion, 'Nostalgic Replay,' explored how fashion brands can leverage nostalgia to connect with millennials. This award-winning project (British Display Society Award) saw me take on the roles of Creative Director, Production Manager, Editor, and Visual Merchandiser. The campaign, focused on the sportswear brand FILA, presented a vibrant reimagining of the 90s, capitalising on the positive emotional effects of nostalgia for mental well-being.

 

Drawing from my diverse skillset encompassing 3D modelling, graphic design, and film, the project showcased the power of visual merchandising to evoke emotions and influence purchasing behaviours, particularly within the millennial market.

Tsunami x Fila

In a visionary project for Tsunami, I conceptualized an original fashion collaboration – Fila x Kehlani. This never-before-seen partnership reintroduced Fila to the contemporary fashion scene, capitalising on the burgeoning resurgence of vintage brands (a trend that gained significant traction shortly after the project).

 

My approach utilised visual merchandising principles across various stages, crafting compelling branding content for social media, promotional materials, and even potential store design concepts. This project demonstrates my ability to identify emerging trends, translate them into impactful visuals, and potentially influence the fashion landscape.

Flat Seven

Flat Seven," a collaborative branding campaign for Spotify and Axel Arigato by Stefan Fernandes, benefitted from my multifaceted skillset. As Creative Director, I spearheaded the project's vision, encompassing a lookbook, video, and promotional content.

 

My background, which has traversed motion graphics, animation, fashion school, and 3D compositing, reflects a passion for pushing boundaries. This is evident in the two personal creative projects and a moving image piece I delivered, all focusing on subtle yet impactful realism and immersive VFX techniques. My contributions extended beyond creative direction, as I took on the roles of Production Manager, Editor, and Visual Merchandiser, ensuring the project's successful execution.
